Picture this…You wake up in the morning and you do your normal cleanup routine before going to work then you decide to turn on the television for that “quick” headline news and GBAM! You see the newscaster talk about the drop in the value of the Naira, the bad economy, the trouble in the north, the alarming rate of increasing corruption, the increase in the pump price of fuel etc and then you realize that its time for work.
So you enter into your car and start the ignition. The obvious thing you do next is that you turn on the radio for that quick entertainment and information about the weather and of course “the news”. Chances are you will be informed about issues concerning the decline in security and how everyone should be careful of their environment.
You get down from your car, and head on straight to your work place and then you begin the business of the day. Every thing goes well, not until break period when you talk with your work colleagues while munching on your favorite delicacy. No doubt, personal finance will be discussed and complaints about how the need of an increase in salary is of great importance and then the topic moves to politics, security and the economy.
Its nothing to you really. You are on top of your game.
Not until you do these routine day after day for years and then suddenly every little thing irritates you and you eventually realize how depressed you have gotten.
What have you been listening to?
News or Junk?

· It becomes your reality eventually.
· You lose the desire to push on in Life.
· You become afraid of literally everything.
· You become afraid to invest your money.
· Your goals seem vague to you.
· Food is now tasteless, who cooked this rubbish?
· Your wife or girlfriend is now a liability.
· You find it had to get along with others or share your problems.
Worse…You lose yourself in the process.
Do yourself a favour, Guard your mind, Be Informed but don’t get caught up into believing everything in a mess.
You own your life…and your ears too.
