President Muhammadu Buhari has on June 6, Monday, departed NnamdiAzikiwe International Airport in Abuja for London, United Kingdom.
The president, who has ear infection, embarked on ten-day vacationto seehis doctors abroad.He was seen off by personal staff, ministers and military officials at the President Wing of Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, addressed the press before leaving ostensibly to assure Nigerians that his condition should not be cause forworry.
Femi Adesina, presidential spokesman, informed yesterday that President Buhari was examined by his personal physician and an E.N.T specialist in Abuja and was treated.

However, both Nigerian doctors recommended further evaluation purely as a precaution.Always quick with their reactions,Nigerians across the country took to social mediato send out messages of support and wish their leader a speedy recovery, while some questioned the facts surrounding the trip .
Concerns over Buhari’s health also grew after he canceled a much awaited trip to the oil-rich Niger Deltalast week.
There also have been speculations over the president’s state of health since he shelved his scheduled two-day official visit to Lagos state at the last minute and directed Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo to represent him.
