The England midfielder worked under Mauricio Pochettino at Southampton and is being lined up by the north London club this summer

Mauricio Pochettino is ready to make £20 million-rated Adam Lallana Tottenham’s number one target this summer, according to the Sun.
The Spurs boss worked with the England midfielder whilst in charge of Southampton and has since tried to lure him to White Hart Lane.

Pochettino is to open talks with Spurs chief Daniel Levy ahead of the summer transfer window as he looks to strengthen his squad for a Premier League title challenge next season.

The 28-year-old joined the Reds in a £25 million deal in 2014 and has started in 36 games for the club this season, but Jurgen Klopp’s chase of Mario Gotze and Marco Reus may see Lallana leave should he land the pair.
